Assignment 12 on 17DEC : My autobiography

I was born in Chung Joo, Choong Book. I quitted Koran airlines and entered Asiana airlines in 1988. At that time, I worked hard for making a company in the field of flight dispatch. It was a very touching sight to see our company’s first aircraft in Kimpo airport on December of the year. I continued to work for flight movement control with dispatcher and was transferred to Narita airport in 1993. After 3 years, I returned to Seoul. My place of employment was changed into safety management team in 2001. As you can see, I was a typical salaried employee and worked for airlines.

Assignment 12 on 15DEC : Ways to learn English

I believe that there are several ways to learn English. The best way is to live in the country using as a native language of English for about 2 years. For example, it must be Korean style English if we learn it from a Korean. in this case, It makes a great difference to express English because of our way of thinking. Also, we have to learn thoroughly many things about English for a long time. There is no shorter way to learning English.

Assignment 11 on 10DEC : Second language

I think American students should have to learn a second language. First of all, it’s very helpful for understanding a foreign culture. Also, it is necessary for travelling to overseas’ countries. Moreover, it is essential to communicate with foreigners. In conclusion, everybody who wants a cultural exchange or tour to foreign countries has to learn a language of nations they long for.

Assignment 10 on 08DEC : A traffic jam

I was late for work due to a traffic jam the other day. There was a slight traffic accident. 2 peoples began to a verbal quarrel in the street over a trifle. We could not move because the traffic is blocked. They had to move their cars not to obstruct the traffic. But they didn’t do that. At that time, lots of drivers began to sound a horn. Just then, they moved their cars and the traffic became smooth at last.

Assignment 9 on 03DEC: My trip to temple

Why do we go to the temple? I went to worship at a temple Baek Dam 2 weeks ago. There was very calm and peaceful place. Around here, there are Shog Cho port and mountain seol ag. So I could have a good time. Although a short time, we can forget our life time’s agony and get a peace of mind at there.

Assignment 8 on 01DEC : How to pack for a weekend trip?

First, select the purpose of weekend trip. 2nd, decide a destination. 3rd, think about the things you need for the trip. Then, gather it together. After that, get a backpack. Finally, put it in the backpack.

Assignment 7 on 26NOV : My bedroom

My bedroom is very simple and clean. There is TV in front of bed. My wife likes to watch it laying herself on the bed. There are small sized 2 flowerpots and artificial flowers on a dresser. I have a narrow bookcase beside the dresser. Also I have a closet in the corner. I don’t have any children to be disordered my bedroom. So it is possible to maintain it simply and cleanly.

Assignment 6 on 24NOV : My co-worker’s character

She is artistic woman who likes playing violin. Also she likes to listen to music. She is very clever and greedy, too. She is quick to understand every difficult thing and has the talent of adapting herself to the occasion. Maybe she makes money out of everything in the future.

My partner

She is ground staff and work at GDS Team in Asiana Town. She goes to there by subway and shuttle bus. She works for almost 10hours a day. She is Academic Writing Course’s student and does her homework very hard. She usually eats dinner with her family. After that she goes to bed.

Assignment 4 : My free time

When I have free time, I like to do several things. I like to go concerts and listen to classical music. I also like to play soccer, ride a bike and go hiking. I enjoy reading books. As you can see, I love all things in the world.

My family

I have a good family. There are 6. My mother’s name is Jae Yeong Hong. My father’s name is Un Yeong Kim. They live in Cheon An and are an unemployed person. I have 2 sons. They are Joon Yong Kim in older and Soo Yong Kim in younger. They are 22 and 20 years old. My family are all healthy. My parents’ job was a teacher. I am an only son. My sons like to play a game and are a good student.

My classmate!!

My classmate's name is Eun Hee Choi. She is married and from Seoul. She speaks Korean and is a service designer of cabin service. She likes to listen to classical music and play game with her doll and also like to watch a baseball game. But I don’t know what her doll game is. She lives in Pa Ju and has a daughter. The most favorite food of hers is Italian spaghetti. Her major is a political and international relationship. Probably, it must be very difficult studies. Her hobby is collecting a crystal. I know crystal ware is luxurious consumer goods and very very expensive. Anyway, she has a very elegant hobby and seems like a rich person. I envy you. I treat to a meal sometime in the near future, but do you know it is an eternal truth that a rich person must pay the cost?

Introducing Yourself

Good afternoon, Everybody. My name is Sang Dae Kim. I am working at Safety Management Team and in charge of safety promotion. That means reducing a persons or property damage to acceptable level through a process of hazard identification and risk management.

To be frank with you, I am very poor on using an English and so start this lessons. I don’t have any chance to learn an English because of my laziness for a long time. Especially, I have always studied a Japanese to get an opportunity for stationed work in Japan.

Unfortunately my department have been changed into Safety Management Team from Flight Dispatch Team. I was in change of flight dispatch work of Japan area and almost didn’t feel necessity of English in old team. But I feel it in my new team and so apply this course. I would like to learn an English step by step from the beginning.

I am fond of hiking. My hobby is hiking. I like looking down from the highest point of mountain and so go to mountain every Saturday if I don’t have something else such as wedding ceremony. I spend my time having a hiking on Saturday and reading a novels or listening a music on Sunday. I think that Seoul is happy place because it has many mountains near the city. And also I heard that there is no city as Seoul in anyplace in all the world. If you want to go to mountain at Saturday, let me know. Do you have any good plan for this Saturday? If none? Why don’t you join me?
