Assignment 11 on 10DEC : Second language
I think American students should have to learn a second language. First of all, it’s very helpful for understanding a foreign culture. Also, it is necessary for travelling to overseas’ countries. Moreover, it is essential to communicate with foreigners. In conclusion, everybody who wants a cultural exchange or tour to foreign countries has to learn a language of nations they long for.

Most Americans learn Spanish and Canadians learn French. It's a mandatory thing just like English is in Korea.

I think American students should not have to learn a second language. Because English is already common language in the world.
